Service Description
Distance Training, Self Paced with In-Person Practical and Exam - Semester 1: November 22 & 23, 2025 | 9-5pm (both days) - Semester 2: April 11 & 12, 2026 | 9-5pm (both days) - Written Exam: June 20th, 2026 | 9-5pm This is a home study course with 2 weekends of practical work and a written exam. **Please Note: These dates are your commitment, there will be low-to-no tolerance for missing or rescheduling these trainings. Please be sure you will be able to make the dates, any missed dates will have to be made up with the following cohort. Course Requirements: ~ Successful completion of Basic Shiatsu ~ CPR / First Aid Training ~ Anatomy & Physiology Basic Course (certified by a required institution) ~ 490 hours of Integrated modalities of choice during or prior to completion of Advanced Shiatsu Course Outline: ~ 7 Theory Modules ~ Practical Studies (Moxabustion, magnetic therapy, ear seeding and hot rock) ~ Clinical (15 hours within course, 100 documented practicum hours) ~ Final Exam (theory / practical) passing of 70% Upon completion of the above requirements the student must have successfully passed theory exam and a practical SSTA board exams with at least 70% to receive a Registered Shiatsu Therapist Certificate and #. If you come to a circumstance that requires you to postpone your training, please reach out to Jennifer and request a new course date. Courses are not refundable but we will schedule you in with the following co-hort.
